Ankeny Business & Industry Collaborative (ABIC) is a private business organization.  ABIC's mission is to educate, advance and advocate for the economic vitality of the community. 

Formerly known as Ankeny Economic Development Corporation (AEDC), has been part of the Ankeny community for more than 50 years! The AEDC played a large role in Ankeny's business growth, helping to bring businesses to Ankeny.

Ankeny is the sixth largest community in the state. Ankeny is located at the crossroads of the nation at the intersection of I-35 and I-80.  It features the third busiest airport in the state, an abundant talent pool, two colleges within the city limits and four universities within a 25-minute drive.  It is a community dedicated to quality of life, education and business success.
